Remember, when you buy a book directly from the author, you’re mostly supporting the actual artist, not BezoMaul or whatever his name is, and not the big corporate publisher, and not the little corporate publisher, and not even the bookstore owner – the actual, for-real person who did the work and made the actual art (and in my case, did all the other work as well). And remember that we are ALL unwittingly supporting the ‘zon, every day, just by living in the world. I’m mad about it too! It is what it is! Don’t hurt me because you don’t like him, because I also don’t like him. And I LOVE indie bookstores – they’re great – but again, if you support a “shop local/shop indie” vibe, you can’t beat the original source. That’s me!

American and Canadian readers who want physical/print copies may pay here in their country’s normal currency. The prices you see on the buttons below include shipping in the non-remote/mainland bits of both countries, because I just love you that much.

LANDMARKS & BEACONS (POEMS)

A collection of poetry examining the smallest details, where we have been, and where we are going.

Landmarks & Beacons is divided into ten six-poem sections, each broadly representing a different life stage, period, or larger milestone era or experience. The poems in the collection were written over the course of more than 20 years, and touch on parentage, friendship, trauma, work, pregnancy and motherhood, the pandemic, and more.

Written in a conversational, contemporary poetic style, Landmarks & Beacons looks at relatable personal transformation. It is an average person’s attempt to excavate, understand, take meaning from, and ultimately release the past.

If you buy, don’t forget to send your address, silly goose.

Please note: Hardcover copies of all of these books are also available, but at this time, are only particularly accessible in the USA. If you long for a hardback edition, and are in the States, you’re in luck. Go forth and buy one. Barnes & Noble and Amazon have them a-plenty. In Canada, it is more tricky and I DO NOT recommend ordering online. Even if you think you’ve found the hardcover edition you want, and there don’t seem to be any hidden fees, if the book is shipping up from the USA, you may be slapped with a surprise COD tariff charge at the post office (like I was). Sorry about that. It’s related to the orange demon. May we all survive these dark and tumultuous times.
